With years of experience in both communications and genomics, Amelia works within the OurDNA team as the Media and Outreach Officer. She has expertise in both strategic and creative communications, specialising in producing cut-through content for complex subject matter.
Amelia is passionate about making healthcare and science communications accessible for the everyday Australian. She graduated from RMIT University with a Bachelor of Communication and was previously a Communications Advisor for Melbourne Genomics Health Alliance.
The Centre for Population Genomics is a joint national initiative of Garvan Institute of Medical Research and the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute. The Institutes are national leaders in genomic research, with complementary strengths spanning large-scale genomics, data science, population health, and clinical impact.
