Edna is currently a Project Officer at the Garvan Institute, contributing to the OurDNA project within the Recruitment team. In this role, the team is focused on participant recruitment, working to ensure diverse representation in health databases. Though new to the position, she brings 13+ years of experience in administration roles across the Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, and Clinical Research industries. With a passion for serving people and communities, Edna enjoys applying her background in event management to enhance the recruitment process and support the goals of the OurDNA project.
The Centre for Population Genomics is a joint national initiative of Garvan Institute of Medical Research and the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute. The Institutes are national leaders in genomic research, with complementary strengths spanning large-scale genomics, data science, population health, and clinical impact.
