Hope Tanudisastro is an MD-PhD student at the CPG and the University of Sydney. Her research focuses on understanding the landscape of short tandem repeat (STR) and structural variation in the genome and their effects on gene expression. She completed a BSc in Genetics and Statistics and has a keen interest in translating advances in genetics research to clinical practice.
The Centre for Population Genomics is a joint national initiative of Garvan Institute of Medical Research and the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute. The Institutes are national leaders in genomic research, with complementary strengths spanning large-scale genomics, data science, population health, and clinical impact.
